John and Michelle are Americans from Minneapolis, and have been married since 2011. We have always been avid travelers, and some time ago, we decided that a couple weeks here and there simply weren’t enough, so we pulled up stakes and moved to Europe.
To learn more about how our big adventure began (more than two years ago!), check out this post. We began by largely spending our time in the Balkans and eastern Europe, then we branched out into western Europe, and now Latin America.
Both of us work remotely, John as a software developer, Michelle as a marketing and communications freelancer. John has a strong interest in Byzantine history, and has edited a new edition of Sir Edwin Pears’ book “The Destruction of the Greek Empire,” which is available as a paperback and on Kindle.
